Shortly after announcing a new gourmet line, Eagle Boys Pizza, Australia’s second largest pizza company, has launched a new series of seafood pizzas.
Eagle Boys’ “Catch of the Day” menu features ingredients such as Moreton Bay bugs, salmon steaks, marinated calamari and prawns.
“Seafood is a quintessential menu item for many Australians – we enjoy the delicacies of the ocean as a regular part of our beach lifestyle,” said Todd Clayton, Eagle Boys CEO. “Our innovative menu is certainly on the pulse and trend of modern cuisine with its sophisticated and stylish toppings that we’re sure will appeal to a wide range of palates.”
The new seafood pizzas will be sold for $10.95, (about $11.13 in U.S. dollars).
“Having a sublime seafood platter on your pizza shouldn’t mean you’re slugged with paying over $20 for a pizza,” Clayton said.
