Eatza Pizza names Belden VP of operations

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Steve Belden has been named vice president of operations for Eatza Pizza, an operator of about 30 pizza buffet restaurants.

According to a news release, Belden will be in charge of project and systems development, training and purchasing, as well as food quality and customer service.

Eatza Pizza president Ron Stilwell said the appointment of Belden "provides our company with an experienced restaurant operator who has worked for some of the nation's most recognized fast-casual brands. With more than 30 years of experience in the restaurant business, Steve will help our existing and new franchisees develop operational systems and programs that will increase our market penetration throughout the country."

Prior to joining Eatza Pizza, Belden was president of Debco Foods, the operating partner of a multi-store Sonic Drive-in franchise. Previously, he held a number of key management positions with major restaurant operators, including area director for Wendy's and vice president and chief operating officer for a Rally's Hamburgers franchisee.
