Fat Boy's Pizza is set to open in New Orlean's French Quarter on Oct. 29, according to a press release. The store will be located at 714 St. Peter St.
"Adding a location to the French Quarter was a no-brainer," Fat Boy's Pizza owner Gabe Corchiani said in the release. "We want to be part of the resurgence of the French Quarter and New Orleans."
The menu will be different in the French Quarter, with the location serving The Finest Piece in the Quarter — oversized slices of cheese, pepperoni, The Meats, The Fat Boy, The Skinny Boy, The Hog and The Veggies — as well as 30-inch pizzas, jumbo pretzels, daiquiris and beer, including 10 Louisiana craft beers on tap.
"We are really excited to bring our brand of made-fresh-daily, New York-style pizza mixed with southern hospitality and atmosphere to the iconic French Quarter," Regional Director of Operations Chad Collura said in the release. "Being on this historic stretch of the Quarter between Jackson Square and Bourbon Street, presents a huge opportunity to introduce our high-quality pizza and daiquiris to a completely new audience."
The St. Peter St. location will mark the fourth Fat Boy's location, joining Old Metairie, Baton Rouge and Covington, with two more opening soon. The Hattiesburg, Mississippi location is scheduled to open next month and Mandeville in early 2022.
