Fat Boy's Pizza targets Tampa for expansion

New Orleans-based Fat Boy's Pizza is targeting franchise expansion in Tampa, Florida. The company plans to open up to 10 locations within the Tampa market, according to a press release.

The brand currently has six locations operating throughout Louisiana and Mississippi, with two locations opening in Houston next year and another five in development.

"We're excited for Fat Boy's Pizza to begin taking steps towards opening new locations through franchising and providing more communities with our delicious food and family friendly atmosphere," Gabe Corchiani, CEO and founder, said in the press release. "Tampa is a large, diverse market that can easily accommodate at least ten locations that will allow our brand to build brand awareness, management, and supply chain efficiencies."
