Fears connected to ''bird flu' give flight to Thai pizza sales

BANGKOK, Thailand--The outbreak of avian flu in Thailand has sent sales flying at two of the country's pizza chains.

According to Justfood.com, 129-unit The Pizza Company reported sales were up 29 percent in the first two months of 2004, while Narai Pizzaria, another major chain, has also seen double-digit growth.
