Figaro's Italian Pizza enters Kentucky market

SALEM, Ore.—Figaro's Italian Pizza, Inc. announced it will open its first Kentucky franchise in the town of Lawrenceburg on April 1.

According to a news release, the store is the first "We Bake, You Bake" concept in the Bluegrass State, in which consumers can choose to buy a fully baked pizza or a raw one they can bake at home.

The 1,500-square-foot store has indoor seating for approximately 26 people, and is the first of three stores franchisees Dewayne and Cora Mae Hancock plan to open in the next two years.
