Figaro's, Pizza Schmizza offering free pizza to veterans

Figaro's Italian Pizza is offering any current or former member of the US armed forces a complimentary medium 1-topping pizza upon request throughout today, in honor of Veterans Day.

Also, participating Pizza Schmizza and Schmizza Pub & Grub restaurants are offering any current or former veteran a free slice of pizza today from 1-4 p.m.

Figaro’s and Schmizza CEO Ron Berger said the companies' franchise owners and staff wanted to recognize the commitment of servicemen and women in some way, which led to the decision to launch these programs.

Oregon-based Figaro's restaurants are located in eight states. Schmizza restaurants are located in Oregon, Washington and Alabama.
