Fire Within, a manufacturer of mobile wood-fired pizza ovens, will hold a workshop, ''Getting Started With Your Own Wood-Fired Oven Catering Business,'' April 17-20 in Broomfield, Colorado. The 28th workshop provides opportunities for hands-on cooking, learning catering skills and designing a business plan.
The workshop, aimed at providing participants information to start a mobile wood-fired pizza oven catering company, is designed for pizza entrepreneurs. It covers the basics of operating the company's mobile wood-fired ovens, baking pizza, locating the proper equipment and leveraging effective marketing strategies. The workshop, to be held at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, teaches participants how to use the ovens to prepare pizza, appetizers, breakfast sandwiches, poultry, meat, bread and more.
