Fired Pie files for bankruptcy protection

Phoenix-based Fired Pie, a regional fast casual chain, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in federal court in Arizona, according to an AZFamily report.

In the filing, parent company NWFI LLC listed up to $1 million in assets but said it has up to $10 million in liabilities.

Fired Pie opened in 2013 and has 14 locations in Arizona. The brand was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and seeks to restructure.
