Jim Thornton has been named the new COO of Pizza Factory and will lead the chain's corporate franchise team to grow the brand in new markets, support existing franchisees and find new ways to keep educating employees to help the brand remain a competitive pizza industry force, according to a news release.
"Jim’s hire is an exciting milestone for Pizza Factory," said Pizza Factory owner, Mary Jane Riva in a news release. "His extensive experience in the franchise and pizza industries will be a great benefit to all of us. He has a proven track record of success and we look forward to leveraging his skills and experience to drive growth for Pizza Factory throughout the country."
Thornton has previously served in leadership for Papa John’s, 7-Eleven and Blockbuster, according to a news release.
"The opportunity to join Pizza Factory was one I couldn't pass up," said Thornton. "I am looking forward to working closely with the support team and franchise partners to advance our franchise growth goals in the months and years to come."
