Founding family member of Donatos Pizza and Chairwoman of the Board Jane Grote Abell is releasing her first book.

Founding family member of Donatos Pizza and Chairwoman of the Board Jane Grote Abell is releasing her first book titled "The Missing Piece: Doing Business the Donatos Way.” An official release party will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Strongwater Food & Spirits at 401 W. Town St. in Columbus, Ohio, according to a company press release.

"The Missing Piece: Doing Business the Donatos Way" is the story of a classic American family business. It is an account of Abell's lifelong education in leadership, authenticity and running a values-based business. In the book, Abell shares key learnings from her four decades of experience growing a small pizza shop on the Southside of Columbus into a business that eventually sold to the biggest restaurant companies in the world, the release stated.

"The Missing Piece: Doing Business the Donatos Way" is available now on www.JaneGroteAbell.com, at all Donatos restaurant locations and coming soon to Barnes & Noble stores in the Columbus-area. The book retails for $24.95, and a portion of the proceeds from each copy sold will be donated to The Donatos Family Promise Fund or Reeb Avenue Center.
