Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, known as Pepe's Pizza, has added The Caprese to the menu through June 1, according to a press release.
The pizza combines fresh and whole milk mozzarella, roasted marinated cherry tomatoes, garlic and a nut-free pesto cream sauce. It's finished with Pecorino-Romano and an imported olive oil blend.
"We wanted to welcome the new season with fresh, vibrant flavors," Jennifer Bimonte-Kelly, granddaughter of founder Frank Pepe, said in the release. "With the bright notes of basil in the pesto cream sauce and the juicy, roasted marinated tomatoes, we've done just that."
Pepe's Pizza has 17 locations. It was founded in New Haven, Connecticut.
