Fresh Brothers refreshes salads, adds 5 more

Los Angeles-based pizza brand, Fresh Brothers, is taking its name to heart and adding a selection of fresh salads, including at least two items specifically geared toward vegan dining. The brand said it not only refreshed its current salad offerings, but added five additional concoctions, which can all be ordered "beach-style" as to-go items that situate the salad atop a house-made flatbread, according to a news release.

The five salads being introduced at the 20-location chain, include:

Ancient Grain with romain, farro, red rice, onion artichokes, roast cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, salami, mozzarella and a red wine vinaigrette.
Beyond Taco Salad, with romaine, plant-based "beef," cheddar roast jalepenos, onions, roast cherry tomatoes, black beans, tortilla strips and jalapeno ranch.
California Caprese, arugula, roast cherry tomatoes, avocado, fresh mozzarella balls topped with a sweet balsamic glaze with a house-made pesto vinaigrette.

Vegan Cobb with romaine, farro, red rice, beets, roast cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, avocado, artichoke with a white balsamic vinaigrette.

"Our fans have been calling for more fresh, flavorful salads so we've been working hard to develop some new on-trend options that satisfy summer cravings," Fresh Brothers' CEO Geoff Goodman, said in the release. "We're also excited to offer our 'Beach Style' salads which we think is a fun California twist to enjoying your greens on the go."

Salads start at $6.99 and $10.99 and are available in small and regular, but customers can still build customized salads with over 57 ingredients to choose from, available at the brand's Southern California stores.
