In the annals of plant-based restaurant history, Impossible Foods is certainly a primary player and today Fresh Brothers Pizza is taking note of that fact with its so-called, Impossible Day, paying tribute to the brand's initial use of the plant-based meat substitute on its pizzas "a few years ago," when it said in a news release that it was the first Los Angeles/Orange County, California pizzeria to do so.
Today, Fresh Brothers and Impossible Foods celebrate that fact with a "relaunch" of the topping during the first "Fresh Brothers Impossible Day." Today, customers of the West Coast brand can get Personal Impossible Pizzas for only $3.50 plus a coupon to return for Impossible Sliders for $3 on the next visit.
The personal pizzas are made with mozzarella (or vegan cheese, if requested) and topped with Impossible Meat. The brand also offers a pizza-fied version of Impossible Sliders (not associated with the Impossible Sliders offered at regional burger QSR, White Castle), that includes Impossible meat baked with pizza sauce and mozzarella on three King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls.
