GE touts oven's pizza-cooking ability

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — General Electric Co. is marketing its newest oven as a challenger to the neighborhood pizzeria.
GE's new Profile Double Oven free–standing range offers the ability to cook two different dishes—at two different temperatures—at the same time. The range features a 2.1 cubic foot–capacity upper oven that can be set on pizza mode, for baking fresh or frozen pizzas.
The oven controls how long and how often the bake and broil elements are energized.
The GE Profile double oven range is available in two 30" models, and sells for between $1999 and $1549.
