Georgia operator named Marco's Pizza top franchise

Pizza Guys LLC, which operates Marco's Pizza locations in Savannah and Augusta, Ga., were named Franchise of the Year by Marco's Pizza Franchising. According to WSAV.com, the company is owned by Rick Poston and Woody Johnson.

Their selection was based on overall sales, rapid sales increases and execution of daily operations.

Marco's Pizza will host a Customer Appreciation Week May 21 to May 24, in which all regular priced menu items will be 40 percent off.

There are more than 250 Marco's Pizza stores in 21 states and the Bahamas.
