Goodfellas debuts pizza vending machine in southern Ontario

Goodfellas, an Italian restaurant chain, has launched a pilot program for a pizza vending machine in Georgetown, Ontario, according to an Elliot Lake Today report. The automated machine, which is located behind the Goodfellas restaurant at 29 Main St. S., is the company's first venture into automated food service.

The machine operates 24/7, offering customers a choice of four different pizzas: cheese, pepperoni, margherita and capriciosa. Patrons can choose to get their pizza hot and ready to eat or cold to heat up at home. The pies are made in the restaurant's wood-fired oven and are restocked frequently to ensure freshness.

"If this pilot is deemed successful, we will look to expand this value and convenience platform in high-traffic locations throughout the GTA," Rick Taddeo, owner, Goodfellas, told the news outlet.
