Grimaldi's Pizzeria will continue its partnership with No Kid Hungry for an 11th year by helping programs that provide meals to hungry children across the country. The brand has raised more than $1.1 million to fight childhood hunger through its annual fundraising campaign, equivalent to up to 10 million meals donated to date, according to a press release.
From Sept. 1-30, participating Grimaldi's restaurants will provide guests donating to No Kid Hungry with a bounce-back card redeemable on their next visit. The bounce back cards will only be gifted in increments of $5 up to a total of $25 per visit. With each dollar raised, No Kid Hungry is able to provide up to 10 meals to hungry children across the U.S.
"With families struggling this back-to-school season, we feel our work with No Kid Hungry is more important than ever," Micheal Flaum, COO of Grimaldi's Pizzeria, said in the release. "Children shouldn't have to worry about where their next meal will come from. We're honored to have the support of our guests in our decade-long partnership with this great organization."
