Grimaldi's Pizzeria continues expansion in Alabama

Grimaldi's Pizzeria franchise group Power Brands Hospitality Group plans to open its second Grimaldi's in Hoover, Alabama. The unit is expected to open in Spring 2024, according to a press release.

The unit will have two custom-built coal-fired ovens. The 4,000-square-foot restaurant will seat 150 diners.

"The response after announcing our first Alabama franchised location has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are pleased to expand our relationship with Power Brands Hospitality Group and bring Grimaldi's to Hoover, Alabama," Michael Flaum, Grimaldi's Pizzeria COO, said in the release. "Power Brands Hospitality Group's vision and values align with our long-standing reputation, and we look forward to creating lifelong Grimaldi's fans across the state of Alabama."

Power Brands Hospitality Group owns and operates another restaurant in Huntsville, Alabama, which opened in 2022.

Grimaldi's current operates 45 company-owned restaurants and one franchised location in the U.S., plus one international location in Abu Dhabi.
