Grimaldi’s Pizzeria entering Louisiana market

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria has announced it will expand into Louisiana. The first of several locations will open in the winter at 6401 Bluebonnet Blvd. in Baton Rouge’s Mall of Louisiana.

“Our team searches the country for the best restaurant sites, and we’ve been excited for a long time about opening within Louisiana,” CEO Joey Ciolli said in a news release. “Grimaldi’s is about great food, impeccable service, and a relaxing atmosphere. We see a lot of opportunity in serving the people of Baton Rouge and are excited to bring our New York-style pizzeria to this region.”

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria currently has 34 locations across the U.S., including Texas, Nevada, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, California, South Carolina and its flagship stores in New York City. Additional locations in Boise, Idaho; El Paso, Texas; Greenville, S.C.; and a second location in Shreveport, La., are expected this year.
