Grimaldi's Pizzeria hosts Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda

Baseball Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda is teaming up with Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Peoria, Ariz., to feature his collection of Italian table wines.

On Tuesday, Grimaldi's Pizzeria will host a wine tasting and bottle signing of Lasorda's signature wine, Montelpuciano D'Abruzzo.

Lasorda will be available to meet and greet with patrons from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Lasorda wines have been selected by Casa Torelli Imports from leading wine producing regions in Italy. Of the six varietals in his collection, Lasorda is most proud of his signature Montelpuciano D'Abruzzo wine. All of his varietals hail from the homeland of his father, Sabatino.
