Grotto Pizza brings back take-and-bake pizza

Delaware-based Grotto Pizza has brought back one of its popular offerings — take-and-bake pizza, which it launched in 2006 and ceased operation in late 2020, according to a Delaware News Journal report.

Spokesperson Lauren Todd said the pizzas were popular, but the brand "wanted to perfect the production process to offer the best possible quality and taste."

The pizzas are 12-inches and can be found in Grotto Pizza locations in Delaware and Maryland. Prices vary by store.

"There's a lot of demand, so we hope to explore shipping in the future once we work through the logistics," Jeff Gosnear, vice president of Grotto Pizza, told the newspaper.
