Group claims giant pizza breaks record

Des Moines Register: A group of Iowa Falls, Iowa, volunteers believe they've cooked up one of the world's largest pizzas.

On June 18, 26 teams worked to turn 4,000 pounds of cheese, 700 pounds of sauce and 9,500 sections of crust into a gargantuan pie in the Iowa Falls-Alden High School parking lot.
