G’s Tasty Pizza adds more vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free dishes

Louisiana-based G's Tasty Pizza has added more vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes to their menu to make the pizzeria more inclusive to diners with specialty diets. Several menu items are also approved by Ochsner's Eat Fit program, according to a press release.

"We want G's Pizza to be a place where everyone feels welcome," Gökmen Güler, CEO, said in the release. "I want people with specialty diets to be able to just walk in and pick something that both looks tasty and fits their diet."

Not only are there vegan options, but G's Tasty Pizza has an entire vegan menu, complete with appetizers, salads, burgers, pizzas and dessert specials. Güler said he and his employees worked hard to perfect the vegan menu and vegan options.

"A customer favorite from our vegan options is the Vegan Rainbow pizza," he said in the release. "It's complete with vegan cheese, red onions, cherry tomatoes, and fresh avocado."

Ochsner's Eat Fit program collaborates with restaurants, grocery stores and more to promote nutritious meals that are also delicious. Many items on G's Pizza's menu are supported by this program, including G's Narcissist Pizza, consisting of marinara, mozzarella, artichoke, pineapple, roasted garlic, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, cilantro and chili pepper, as well as G's Nola Greenroots Pizza, which includess marinara, mozzarella cheese, white onions, roasted red pepper, garlic, artichoke, green peppers, olives, mushroom and spinach.

"We are so happy to partner with the Eat Fit program to support those with dietary restrictions and to encourage healthy eating in general," Güler said in the release. "Our chefs have been working hard to bring this idea to fruition."
