Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream eyes Minneapolis for expansion

Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream has inked a deal for the development of up to six restaurants in the Minneapolis area, according to a press release.
Happy Joe's signed a franchisee as an area agent, allowing them to partner in the development of the restaurants. The brand is seeking qualified parties now.
"It's a great time for entrepreneurs to join the Happy Joe's family," Tom Sacco, chief happiness officer, CEO and president, said in the release. "Our customers and franchisee candidates have taken notice of our new look in stores and online, leading to plenty of interest in owning a Happy Joe's. With more locations coming to Minnesota and beyond, we'll be serving up pizza, ice cream and smiles to more and more communities!"
The restaurants are scheduled to be open by late 2024 or early 2025, and will be situated south and east of the Twin Cities, throughout Washington, Dakota, Ramsey and Hennepin counties. These new Minnesota locations will join the Happy Joe's restaurants already serving in the New Ulm and Crookston areas.
Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream has 43 franchise locations throughout the Midwest.
