Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream to open Illinois restaurant

Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream will open a location in Kewanee, Illinois, on Dec. 16, according to a press release.
A ribbon cutting will take place featuring community and brand leaders.
The restaurant is franchised by Eric Ellenberger and Jamie O'Neill.
"Happy Joe's is all about bringing families and communities together through amazing food and joyful experiences," Tom Sacco, CEO and chief happiness officer, said in the press release. "Eric and Jamie are passionate about continuing that tradition in Kewanee, and we're thrilled to see their vision come to life in our native Midwest region."
The brand has several locations in Illinois.
Happy Joe's was founded in 1972. The brand has eight company-owned and 34 franchised locations.
