Homegrown Tap & Dough, a Gastamo Group property, will open in Castle Rock, Colorado, Dec. 26 The restaurant marks Homegrown's sixth location and Gastamo Group's 15th overall, according to a press release.
The 6,020-square-foot restaurant features 226 indoor seats and a 35-seat corner patio where garage doors open to connect the dining room with the energy of Downtown Castle Rock. Signature touches set the Castle Rock location apart, like a custom elk head by renowned artist Dolan Geiman, locally crafted millwork, and a curated free-play vintage arcade sourced by Chattanooga Pinball, which adds a playful energy for families and groups.
"We've been dreaming about Castle Rock for the past three years," Peter Newlin, CEO of Gastamo Group, said in the press release. "Every inch of this restaurant was handcrafted with countless local partners with real materials and art that belong here. We're here to listen, learn and move fast to improve. Above all, we want Homegrown to be a place this community makes its own."
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for early Jan. 2026.
Gastamo Group is a Denver-based restaurant group founded in 2009 by chef-restaurateur Jean-Philippe Failyau with the opening of the original Park Burger in Platt Park. Since joining forces with CEO Peter Newlin, the group has grown to operate 14 restaurants across the Denver metro area, spanning five distinct concepts: Park Burger, Park & Co., Homegrown Tap & Dough, Perdida and Lady Nomada.
