Hot Box Pizza turns to Smart Car delivery

INDIANAPOLIS — With the average price of gas in Indiana well over $4 a gallon, Hot Box Pizza is coming to the aid of its pizza delivery drivers. The company has bought a Smart Car – with another four on order – for drivers to use on deliveries.
Hot Box owner Gabe Connell had the car customized with a red-and-black ‘skin' adorned with the Hot Box logo. The car gets 45 miles per gallon and can hit a top speed of 90 mph.
