As part of the expansion plans that Hungry Howie's CEO Steve Jackson recently detailed on the QSRweb podcast, the brand is opening its newest store Thursday in Ann Arbor, Michigan, according to a news release.
The opening comes with a deal including a large one-topping pizza for $7.99, and the location is donating 10% of sales on Aug. 17 to Children's Creative Center. Likewise, 10% of sales on Aug. 24 will go to Dicken Elementary School.
Franchisee Jinil Patel first joined Hungry Howie's as a pizza maker when he was 16, and with help from his family, purchased the Ann Arbor outlet, his second in the city in addition to a Washtenaw Avenue location opened seven years ago.
The store, at 2026 West Stadium Blvd., is among nearly 550 locations of the brand in 20 states across the U.S.
