Hungry Howie's has an appetite for Charlotte

Hungry Howie’s Pizza is opening a new location today in Charlotte, North Carolina, and franchisee Eric Fairbanks plans to open an additional six locations in the area by the end of next year. 

The new location will kick off with opening day specials — some extending to the end of October. Additionally, 10 percent of Wednesday's sales at the new store will be donated to a nearby middle school and 10 percent of Thursday's sales will go to an area elementary school, a news release said. 

For Fairbanks, this is store No. 12 in Charlotte after 12 years growing the brand in the area. 

"North Carolina has been a focus growth market for us for quite some time and we’re elated to have Eric lead the charge," Hungry Howie's Vice President of Development Jennifer Jackson said in the release. "His passion for the brand is evident in his existing stores and we look forward to continued success in Charlotte."

The new store is located in the 3000 block of South Boulevard.
