Hungry Howie's is full with profits

Hungry Howie's Pizza has announced sales growth in the first half of 2011. First quarter same-store sales forHungry Howie's were up 6.72 percent, and second quarter same-store sales were up by 7.57 percent.

"We believe that our Flavored Crust Pizza really sets us apart from the competition," said Steven Jackson, president of the Michigan-based chain that has more than 500 locations in 24 states. "While other pizza chains are reporting decreases in sales, we have seen a significant increase. Our franchisees are doing well and we are continuing to open new locations. We are very optimistic about the rest of 2011."
