Hungry Howie's names franchise development manager

Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs Inc. has named Tim Lipka as franchise development manager.

Lipka comes to Hungry Howie's from Boston's Restaurant and Sports Bar, where he was director of franchise development. He was regional vice president for The RTM Restaurant Group, a franchisee of Arby's, where he was accountable for 35 Arby's restaurants. Lipka has 28 years of experience in the foodservice industry.

"Hungry Howie's has a family-oriented culture toward its corporate employees and franchisees which, as a family man, is something I am happy to be involved in," Lipka said. "All of the elements are in place to make Hungry Howie's a top tier brand and I'm excited to be a part of the company's future. My main role will be to help expand the franchisee base and accelerate growth across the country."

Founded in 1973, Michigan-based Hungry Howie's has more than 500 locations in 24 states.
