Hungry Howie's opens 1st Birmingham store

Hungry Howie's opened its first Birmingham, Alabama store this week, a first for franchisee Falgun Patel, a news release said.

The Montclair Road store is in the Birmingham jurisdiction of Irondale. Patel has a background in business administration and running gas and convenience stores with his family's business. Hungry Howie's is his launching pad into a restaurant franchising career, during which he hopes to open more locations in the future.

Hungry Howie's has about 550 stores systemwide and is based in Madison Heights, Michigan.
