Hungry Howie's Pizza intros Bold & Spicy sauce

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich.—Hungry Howie's Pizza, Inc. is rolling out a new Bold & Spicy sauce for customers who like a little heat.

According to a news release, free Cajun bread will be given out to customers who try the new sauce on a large one-topping pizza priced at $8.99.

"We have carefully tested several sauces over the past few years because we wanted something that was spicy with a great taste," said Jeff Rinke, vice president of marketing and product development at the 485-unit chain. "The Bold & Spicy sauce does have a kick to it, but with the hot sauce market increasing, I think many of our customers are going to love it."
