Hungry Howie's to open 17th NC location

Hungry Howie's continues its North Carolina expansion, with its 17th store in the state set to open Sept. 23 in Cornelius.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza announced that it will open its 17th North Carolina location on  open Sept. 23 at 18059 West Catawba Avenue in the Lake Norman area in Cornelius, North Carolina, according to a company press release.

The Cornelius opening marks Hungry Howie's franchisee Eric Fairbanks’ ninth location with the chain. At age 25, Fairbanks moved from Michigan to North Carolina to launch his first Hungry Howie’s in 2005. He has opened nearly one store for every year in business with Hungry Howie’s, the release stated.

"I was extremely lucky to have been able to purchase my first Hungry Howie’s store fresh out of college," Fairbanks said. "I would have never guessed that my excitement for the competitive world of pizza would have taken me from working as a pizza delivery man to now owning nine Hungry Howie’s locations. This brand holds a special place in my heart and I’m thrilled to be bringing these fantastic, fresh pizzas to the Cornelius community."

Founded in 1973, Hungry Howie’s Pizza has nearly 600 locations in 21 states.
