Imo's Pizza to expand in Kansas City

St. Louis-based Imo's Pizza will open its third Kansas City area location this year, according to a report in The Kansas City Star.

The restaurant will be under the helm of franchise owner Jamie Poulsen and is expected to open in the fall.

Kansas City has two other locations, one at 4200 Rainbow Boulevard and another in Overland Park.

The addition of Imo's is part of a redevelopment of the former Metro North Mall site. Whataburger, Dutch Bros and Andy's Frozen Custard are among the sites in the project.
