Indianapolis to hold first-ever pizza festival

Pizza lovers in Indiana now have a reason to rejoice with the launch of the Indianapolis Pizza Festival on Aug. 9, 2025, according to a press release.

Attendees will enjoy:

• Unlimited pizza samples from Indiana's favorite pizzerias.
• Live music, games and entertainment.
• "Best Pizza in Indy" competition, where guests will vote for their favorite pizza.
• VIP experiences with exclusive tastings, meet-and-greets and more!

"This event is about celebrating the best pizza spots in Indiana while creating a fun, engaging experience for food lovers," Tommy Barrett, an Indianapolis-based social media influencer and organizer of the festival. "It's more than just a food event — it's a way to bring the community together and showcase the incredible local pizza scene."
