International School of Pizza registering for 2009

SAN FRANCISCO -- The International School of Pizza has unveiled a new Web site. Aspiring pizza chefs can find information about the school and register for upcoming classes atwww.internationalschoolofpizza.com.
 
The school offers certifications in Classic Italian, Neapolitan, Roman, California, New York, Chicago and Sicilian styles of pizza. Courses also are available for the home chef.
 
The school is supported by Italy's oldest pizza school, the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, and is owned and operated by certified master instructor Tony Gemignani and partners Bruno di Fabio and Nancy Puglisi.
 
The 2009 courses will begin in late May in the same location as Gemignani's new restaurant, Tony's Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco. The restaurant will operate at night while the school will be open during the day. Students will be able to work in the restaurant for certain courses to learn about operations.
 
The school also will offer tours in San Francisco to artisan food crafters, farmers and fish markets.The International School of Pizza expects to host students from more than seven countries in 2009.
