Jones Soda Co named official soda of World Pizza Champions

Craft soda brand Jones Soda Co. has been named the official soda of the World Pizza Champions, a non-profit organization of pizza professionals with ties to hundreds of pizzerias.
The partnership opens opportunities for expanding Jones' presence in the foodservice channel as well as for broadening the brand's fan base through visibility during World Pizza Champions' competitions, community events and charitable projects, according to a press release.
"This partnership is an ideal springboard for building new connections in the food and beverage community as we focus on expanding both our products and our strategies for driving profitable growth," Scott Harvey, CEO of Jones Soda, said in the release. "It's also a major vote of confidence in the quality of Jones products from an organization that is 100% dedicated to excellence in the art of pizza making."

Jones Soda clearly shares that philosophy in its own business, and that makes this relationship a natural fit," Nick Bogacz, president of World Pizza Champions, said in the release. "This is our first partnership with a soda brand, and we believe it will deliver significant benefits on both sides."
