LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM), parent of Dallas-based Pizza Hut, reported that comparable-store sales at the chain's 1,700 corporate-owned units rose 1 percent for the four-week period ended Aug. 9, 2003.
According to a news release, blended international same-store sales, made up almost entirely of Yum's 12,000 Pizza Hut and KFC units, were up 7 percent (before conversion to U.S. dollars).
