OXNARD, Calif. -- JUSTCHEX, LLC, a leading on-demand returned payments processor, announced the addition of a service option that automates the collection of non-NSF checks.
According to a news release, clients using this service receive 100 percent of the recovered face value of each check, along with the full state fee minus a minimal fee for access, 75 cents per letter and 10 cents per call.
Returned checks that do not qualify for electronic processing through the ACH network are tracked and the system automatically initiates collection calls and letters.
Available through the transmodus.net Web site, this system was developed and tested over the past year and has consistently produced results on par with the national average of collection agencies that make live calls and use letter campaigns. Collection automation can be used as a total solution or as the first stage in the secondary collection process. Any checks that fail to be collected using this method can still be forwarded to legal departments or collection agencies for further action.
