LaRosa's Family Pizzeria has opened a restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky, according to a press release.
The first 200 guests received LaRosa's swag bags, with the first 50 receiving free pizza for a year.
"The excitement around bringing LaRosa's to Louisville has been overwhelming; we've heard from so many people how they've experienced LaRosa's in Lexington or Cincinnati, or at Reds game or Kings Island, and how much they wanted their own LaRosa's right here in Louisville," Michael LaRosa, CEO of LaRosa's and son of Founder Buddy LaRosa, said in the press release. "Our famous family recipes transcend geographic borders — that's clear. We can't wait to be a part of making memories in Louisville."
The 3,773-square-foot restaurant is a full-service pizzeria and includes dine-in, drive-up/pick-up and delivery. The restaurant seats 96 and has a covered patio which serves 44 guests.
The brand donated $2,000 to Louisville's Dare to Care Food Bank as part of its pre-opening friends and family event.
LaRosa's operates 66 pizzerias in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
