LaRosa's triples fundraising potential with sale of Buddy Cards

Cincinnati, Ohio-based LaRosa's Family Pizzeria is giving $15 to teams and clubs for each $20 Buddy Card they sell. The fundraiser has been active for nearly 30 years, with thousands of local teams and clubs raising millions of dollars to meet fundraising goals for sports, activities and trips by selling the popular Buddy Cards, according to a press release.

Last year, groups raised almost $435,000 for their activities, the largest amount raised in a single year.

"If the same number of Buddy Cards are sold this year as were sold last year, but at $20 per card, we will help raise over $1.3 million to support local groups, teams and schools, as well as The LaRosa Family Foundation, in just one year — that would have an incredible impact," Mike LaRosa, CEO of LaRosa's Inc., said in the press release.

LaRosa's Family Pizzeria operates 62 pizzerias in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
