Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap in Alexandria, Virginia, has announced its latest design for The Loft at Lena's — a second-story themed room in the restaurant that is changed seasonally. The design is Havana 151, a sultry, elegant supper club with Latin and Cuban fare, according to a press release.
The design of Havana 151 features an eclectic mix of rich textures including distressed tile, tropical plants, wrought iron, leather textured walls, sparkling chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows.
"We were really pleasantly surprised at how our guests absolutely enjoyed our most recent experience, Velvet & Rye," Jason Yates, owner of Lena's, said in the press release. "It seemed that everyone embraced the roaring 20's era experience of Velvet & Rye and had a lot of fun doing so. In choosing what direction we wanted to go in with our new experience, we wanted to choose another concept that was just as captivating. One in which you felt transported back in time once again, and if you so choose, could dig in and be a part of it without it being too much of a gimmick. This is the real deal and we are so excited to share it with our guests!"
The Loft at Lena's features food and cocktails designed with the space's theme in mind. It takes five days to transform The Loft at Lena's. The operators launched the themed space in 2020 with a Winter Lodge theme. Others include Full Bloom, a spring concept and Ocean's 21, which drew inspiration from the coasts of the Northeast and Velvet & Rye, an old Hollywood design.
