The Western Maile: SWANSEA, Wales — Pizzas could soon be ordered at the touch of a text message thanks to a product developed by a Swansea company.
Start-up company Mobile Mentality has developed a mobile-phone-based platform to help pizza businesses across the UK target the 14-million-plus 15-to-34-year-olds who currently use text as their preferred communication method.
Known as Txtapizza, the application is the brainchild of recent university graduates, Senan Bannon and Rory Quinn. The new system offers pizzerias a simple, convenient and cost-effective way to penetrate the growing home delivery market.
