Little Caesars will use mobile learning platform, Inkling, to train its employees, a news release said. The service allows the pizza chain's management to instantly update and distribute training as needed, while employees can search the platform via tablets as education is needed about things like new recipes, daily promotions and the like.
Inkling said in the release, that its survey earlier this year on training practices at businesses, nearly half said they still training through paper-based mediums, even as highly complex forms of on-the-job education are entering the marketplace, including AI and robotic platforms. Many companies are moving to tech-augmented and mobile-based training since most restaurant workers are also mobile and do not retain workplace desks, due to the nature of their work.
