Little Caesars plans brand makeover

March 1, 2012

Little Caesars is currently looking for a new creative agency to help the company with a major brand makeover.

According to Ad Age, the chain also is expected to significantly increase its ad spend.

Last year, Little Caesars tapped independent agency Horizon Media to head its media duties; however, the chain currently does not have an agency of record.

In the fall, the company hired a new senior VP of global marketing and a VP of research and development – Ed Gleich and Dana Tilley, respectively.

According to Kantar, the company's measured media spending increased by nearly 33 percent – to $22.4 million – in 2011. However, that budget is still less than 25 percent of other major pizza players.

Little Caesars is the fourth largest pizza chain based on systemwide sales.
