Dominic Cavagnuolo — who started Lucali Miami six years ago — is opening another concept called DC Pie Co by Lucali in Miami's Brickell neighborhood today offering trademark Brooklyn brick oven pies and family-style dining.
"DC Pie Co. is a more casual and approachable concept providing the same great food and atmosphere Lucali Miami is known for, while implementing tableside technology to enhance the guest experience in today's fast-paced world," Cavagnuolo said in the release.
The new 150-seat, 3,000-square-foot restaurant has indoor and outdoor bars and a patio perfect and features "pop-up" menu-ordering tablets at each table. The store, at 1010 Brickell Ave., is open Sunday through Thursday.
