Lucia's Pizza in St. Louis is on the hunt for a grandma, according to a KSDK report.
The brand is seeking a paid "Nonna" to serve as a social media ambassador. Applications are open through Sept. 16. with headshots and video submissions. The winner completes two hours of videos and photoshoots a month to be posted on Lucia's Pizza social media sites.
Lucia's Pizza is the maker of Mama Lucia's Pizza and 4 Hands Brewery-Inspired Pizzas.
"Mama Lucia's was the original St. Louis frozen pizza company when the brand began in 1981 in St. Louis' historical Italian neighborhood of The Hill," Scotty Ashby, Lucia's Pizza president, told the news channel. "We all know the archetype of the matriarch in the family that keeps everyone honest. We're looking for a modern-day nonna to engage with our social media audiences and connect with the next generation of pizza lovers."
Applicants must be age 60 or older and commit to content creation for one year. They should have a compelling life story, an interest in cooking and a love for pizza. The position pays $200 per month.
