Hungry Howie's Pizza will open its newest location next week in Grand Haven, Michigan. It will be the 11th store for Franchisee Jerry Heath, who grew up down the street from Hungry Howie's CEO Steve Jackson and said he knew by the time he was 12 he wanted to own his own store.
"I'm thrilled to expand Hungry Howie's to the eastern area of Lake Michigan," Heath said in a company press release. "Hungry Howie's has a reputation of great customer service and high-quality, delicious pizza and we can't wait to serve to the tourists and local residents of the Grand Haven community."
According to Hungry Howie's Vice President of Development Jennifer Jackson, Heath has been instrumental in growing the brand across the state over the last three decades.
Aside from an opening deal of a large one-topping carryout pizza for $8.99, the location is also donating 10% of its Feb. 23 sales to Ferry and Voyager Elementary, along with 10% of its Feb. 24 sales to Mary A White Elementary.
Madison Heights, Michigan-based Hungry Howie's has more than 550 locations in 20 states.
